CONFIDENTIAL MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
(Astana, 3 November, 2000)
An official meeting took place on 3 November 2000 in Astana between Chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. S. Buranbayev and the Netherlands Ambassador, His Excellency Mr. A.H. Speekenbrink in order to discuss bilateral air transport matters.
The discussions were held in a cordial atmosphere, concentrated on the following matters.
1. Both sides took note with great satisfaction that the only remaining open point in the draft bilateral Air Services Agreement with regard to designation has been solved with an agreement on "double designation" on the condition that in practice single designation will be applied on each of the routes specified in the Annex to the Agreement.
